RFT is excited that our Help Alert® Staff Protection Pendant is moving forward in the Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin contest alongside many outstanding Wisconsin businesses!”— Ernie Chan, CEO of RFTBROOKFIELD, WI, UNITED STATES, October 2, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — RF Technologies (RFT®), which has been creating a safer world since 1987 through advanced life safety and security systems, is proud to report that its Help Alert® Staff Protection Pendant has reached the final 16 in the Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin competition, which began on October 1, 2026.
During the nomination phase, thousands of votes were cast, and now the RFT Help Alert Pendant is up against 15 other companies from around the state. Out of this group, just 6 businesses hail from the Milwaukee region. Voting will proceed throughout October in a bracket-style format, with the ultimate winner being revealed at WMC’s Business Day on October 27th.
Help Alert users are increasingly concerned about rising violence in workplaces, hospitals, and schools across the U.S.—a trend that impacts employees, students, and families. To date, the Help Alert Pendant has protected 100,000 healthcare workers and is deployed nationwide to keep staff safe across a variety of industries.
This pendant is the smallest long-range wearable panic button available, functioning without reliance on Wi-Fi and offering smooth coverage both indoors and outdoors. It allows employees to discreetly call for help in potentially hazardous situations with a single press.
Nurses, teachers, and other professionals who use the pendant have noted their appreciation for its clear visual and tactile two-way feedback, continuous location tracking after activation, lightweight and comfortable fit, and dependable coverage in parking areas.
“RFT is excited that our Help Alert® Staff Protection Pendant is moving forward in the Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin contest alongside many outstanding Wisconsin businesses!” said Ernie Chan, CEO of RFT. “We are thankful that people recognize Help Alert is making a positive difference in lives every day, and we stay dedicated to creating a safer world through our life-safety solutions.”
Voting for RFT’s Help Alert Pendant begins on the Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin website on Thursday, October 1, at 8:00 a.m.
