Enlighten Designs has joined the OpenAI Partner Network as a Select Partner, assisting New Zealand organisations in transitioning AI from experimental phases to full-scale deployment.

HAMILTON, WAIKATO, NEW ZEALAND, October 2, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Enlighten Designs Limited, a New Zealand AI software, web and data engineering firm founded in Hamilton in 1998, announced today that it has been designated an OpenAI Select Partner within the OpenAI Partner Network.

The OpenAI Partner Network represents a worldwide initiative that enables partners to create, market, and implement AI solutions using OpenAI. It brings together partners with deep industry expertise, delivery capabilities, and customer relationships while equipping them with resources, enablement, and support to help enterprises adopt OpenAI frontier models and products and turn them into measurable impact.

In its role as an OpenAI Select Partner, Enlighten Designs will keep collaborating with OpenAI to assist organisations in constructing, rolling out, and growing AI solutions in a responsible and efficient manner. These efforts aim to help clients achieve greater utility from each token and improved performance per dollar using GPT‑6 Astra, Sol, and Luna models, as well as leveraging ChatGPT Work to convert bold objectives into completed tasks. Enlighten Designs provides AI, bespoke software, and data solutions to New Zealand businesses and public-sector bodies in energy, finance, education, and local government.

Damon Kelly, CEO of Enlighten Designs, remarked: "As an OpenAI Select Partner, we’re looking forward to helping our clients leverage the AI offerings from OpenAI and move from experimenting to production."

Enlighten Designs aids enterprises and public-sector entities by offering AI development, custom software, data and analytics, web development, and managed services. One example of its work involves deploying OpenAI models within an AI-driven survey analysis platform created for an Australian community organisation, which replaces manual coding of community feedback with automated sentiment analysis and classification spanning 27 categories, enabling analysts to concentrate on interpretation instead of sorting.

Going forward, Enlighten Designs intends to broaden its OpenAI-related services, invest in team training and certification, and move customer implementations from proof-of-concept to production, assisting clients in turning AI aspirations into tangible business results.
