When a professional community doubles its global reach in less than a year, it signals more than just growth—it points to a real demand for connection in a field that often feels fragmented. That is exactly what Product Management Society, founded by AI product leader Gabriela Naumnik, has achieved: surpassing 3,000 members from 79 countries, with more than 1,000 joining in 2026 alone.
Founded in Lisbon by AI product leader Gabriela Naumnik, the free community connects product managers worldwide, adding 1,000+ members in 2026.
While the group’s in-person meetups are held in four cities, its online presence on Slack and WhatsApp extends far beyond, drawing professionals from six continents. The Lisbon chapter leads with 2,067 members and has hosted over 80 events, earning a 4.7-star rating from more than 200 reviews. Berlin follows with 401 members, Mexico City with 346, and Frankfurt with 300.
These chapters collectively organize more than 50 free meetups annually, ranging from after-work networking to workshops on AI, product discovery, and career advancement.
“When I studied in New York City, attending product meetups helped me expand my network and learn from other product managers,” said Naumnik. “I wanted to bring the same thing to Lisbon: a place where product managers can network, learn from one another, and grow professionally.”
A Global Network With Local Roots
Membership spans 79 countries, yet the in-person experience remains central. Many traveling members make a point to attend a local meetup while visiting a chapter city. The community has also partnered with organizations like Productized, Product Circle (previously The Product Weekend), and Miro.
A Proven Path to New Roles
The community has become a hiring pipeline. Recruiters and hiring managers frequently attend events, and numerous members have credited the network with landing new positions.
“So many people have been hired through the community, and they keep getting hired. That’s incredible to see,” said Naumnik. “Every time someone tells me they landed a role because of a conversation at one of our meetups, it reminds me why we started this.”
Free to Attend, With an Inner Circle You Earn
All meetups remain free, and the WhatsApp group is referral-only—accessible through an existing member or by attending an event in person.
“Keeping events free has always been the point,” said Naumnik. “It’s our way of giving back to the product community, and a way to help people break into product who otherwise wouldn’t have a path in.”

Why it matters: This milestone shows how a free, referral-based model can build a genuinely global professional network without corporate backing. For product managers in underserved markets, it offers a low-barrier entry point to mentorship, hiring connections, and peer learning that might otherwise be out of reach.
