From bionic limbs driven by AI and humanoid robots to satellite-based intelligence and cutting-edge computing systems, the second day of LEAP 2026 revealed how artificial intelligence has shifted from experimental phases to tangible, real-world applications in industries, public services, and daily life.
Throughout LEAP and DeepFest, attendees witnessed live demonstrations by major global technology firms, such as AGIBOT’s humanoid robotics and advanced computing platforms from Supermicro, a leader in AI infrastructure, highlighting the technologies fueling the upcoming industrial era.

One of the most notable demonstrations was PSYONIC’s Bionic Hand, a next-generation prosthetic that learns and adjusts to its user’s motions. Dr Aadel Akhtar, CEO at PSYONIC, stated: “Our goal is to make the prosthetic hand feel less like a device and more like a natural extension of the wearer’s body. By gathering movement and sensor data from human users, we can train robots to replicate those same actions.”
While demonstrations like PSYONIC illustrated the effect of emerging technologies on an individual scale, Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation showcased how technology is being rolled out nationally. This was highlighted by a significant achievement for Tawakkalna, the national comprehensive app run by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA).
At LEAP 2026, 62 government bodies were acknowledged for fully integrating their services into the platform, meeting its 2026 integration goal entirely. This milestone expands a platform that now serves over 36 million users, handles more than 85 million daily transactions, and offers access to over 1,700 government services. As part of the 2026 integration milestone, 926 services from the 62 government entities have been consolidated through a single interface, demonstrating the growing scope and sophistication of Saudi Arabia’s digital government ecosystem while simplifying access for citizens, residents, and visitors.

This shift was echoed in DeepFest’s program, where Abel Deng, President of the Middle East and Asia-Pacific region at AGIBOT, described embodied AI robots as the next revolution in human-technology interaction, following the eras of keyboards and smartphones. Rather than focusing on traditional robotics, AGIBOT combines perception, cognition, and action into a unified system, enabling robots to function more naturally in real-world settings.
The momentum on LEAP’s second day also reflected a broader industry trend, with tech leaders increasingly concentrating on turning breakthrough innovations into practical applications, commercial partnerships, and long-term economic value.
