For the first time, Birdfy is exhibiting at IFA after a landmark year that saw the company exceed one million cumulative units sold worldwide.

Birdfy, a top innovator in intelligent birdwatching tech, is making its IFA debut after a record year where it crossed the one million unit mark in total worldwide sales. At the exhibition, the company is unveiling its newest products while further investigating fresh opportunities for backyard bird observation and expanding its footprint across Europe.

Since its founding six years ago, Birdfy has broadened its range of offerings to document more aspects of avian activity — including feeding, bathing, and nesting. This first appearance at IFA showcases that expanded vision on the European technology scene, underscoring the brand’s forward motion as curiosity grows around novel methods of watching and connecting with wildlife.

Key products on display include the Birdfy Feeder Metal 2 4K, the company’s top-tier 4K smart feeder; the Birdfy Bath Pro, which uses a two-lens camera arrangement to track birds as they drink, bathe, and splash; and the Birdfy Nest Duo, outfitted with two cameras delivering distinct interior and exterior views of the birdhouse. Additionally, Birdfy’s IFA presentation has received accolades from two premier tech outlets: the Birdfy Feeder Metal 2 4K earned Best in Show honors from Trusted Reviews, while the Birdfy Feeder Wood was selected among PC-WELT’s Best of IFA picks.

“Birdwatching has always been driven by curiosity — observing what’s close by and wanting to learn more,” stated Allen Chen, Founder and CEO of Birdfy. “Making our IFA debut lets us strengthen ties with bird enthusiasts throughout Europe and demonstrate how technology can create fresh avenues for experiencing and valuing nature in daily life.”

Birdfy views smart birdwatching as something beyond just a consumer tech segment. The brand’s goal is to use technology as a link between humans and the natural environment, enabling more individuals to observe, comprehend, and nurture the wildlife that surrounds them.
