Conventional machine monitoring effectively tracks trends and pinpoints when a fault occurs. However, on high-speed industrial equipment, the signals that explain why a fault happened can unfold in milliseconds or seconds — falling between standard polling intervals.
MONITOR + High-Resolution Data bridges this gap through event-triggered capture at the machine edge. Teams define the conditions that matter — such as a torque threshold, a temperature rate-of-change, or a cycle deviation — and ei³ automatically records a high-resolution window of machine data surrounding the event, including the period before the trigger.
Instead of continuously transmitting and storing every signal at high frequency, detailed data is captured only when it provides the most value. This approach gives service, engineering, and operations teams richer diagnostic context while keeping data volumes under control.
