Indianapolis AI Consulting Firm NevTech AI Launches Free AI Strategy Sessions for Indiana Businesses

Indiana-Based NevTech AI Introduces No-Cost AI Planning Consultations for Local Enterprises

Every week, business owners get pitched AI—and most of the people doing the pitching have never had to cover payroll”— Cody Neville, CEO, NevTech

The AI Roadmap program provides 30-minute AI advisory meetings that pinpoint which business processes are ripe for automation, based on survey findings that reveal most small businesses adopt AI without achieving measurable returns

NevTech AI, an Indianapolis consulting and deployment firm specializing in artificial intelligence, has unveiled its AI Roadmap initiative—a complimentary half-hour strategy and advisory session aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises across Indiana. During each session, the company identifies the three operational workflows within a business that are best suited for automation, along with the projected savings for each and expected implementation expenses.

This program addresses a shortfall highlighted by a 2026 survey of 1,047 U.S. small business owners conducted by Simply Business: 62% reported using AI in their operations, yet the majority of that use was confined to idea generation and drafting emails. The same study identified the top barriers preventing further adoption as worries about AI mistakes on important tasks (36%), data security (34%), and confusion over where to start (31%). In addition, 86% of respondents stated that having access to a human remains important.

“Most individuals pitching AI to business owners have never had to manage payroll,” said Cody Neville, founder and CEO of NevTech AI. “They know the software. They do not understand what it means to run a business. We developed our automation first inside our own companies, then within the businesses we serve, so that when we meet with an owner we are discussing workflows we have personally operated—not a demonstration. The Roadmap session is designed to answer a single question: where would automation pay for itself in this particular business.”

Rollout, not tools

NevTec’s implementation approach starts by mapping the business’s current workflows rather than beginning with a software product. Automations are constructed to keep staff involved at any point where an error could affect a patient or customer, and the company remains engaged through training and adoption.

“Most technology projects fail during rollout, not in the code,” Neville said. “The work isn’t finished when the software runs. It is finished when the team is using it.”

Background

NevTech creates and runs workflow automation across multiple industries, including a coffee company, a commercial equipment service business, a telehealth and medical-imaging platform used by hospitals and practices, and a municipal video surveillance network. In these settings, AI systems handle inbound calls, quoting, follow-up routing, and reporting.

The company’s AI receptionist service, which answers calls around the clock and captures inquiries that would otherwise go to voicemail, is among the most frequent first projects for local practices and trade businesses.

Program details

AI Roadmap strategy sessions are available to Indiana businesses of any scale. Business owners who have received proposals from other AI consultants or vendors may bring those proposals for review during the session. Sessions can be scheduled at www.nevtech.io or by calling (317) 508-9493.
