The 2026 Alumni Outcomes Report demonstrates that career-focused, AI-integrated degrees deliver results while students are still enrolled, not years after graduation.
Nexford University, a global online institution centered on career advancement, has unveiled its 2026 Alumni Outcomes Report. This survey of its own graduates assesses what a degree is truly meant to accomplish: altering someone’s life path during their active life, not afterward.
The primary finding is not a forecast. It reflects current reality. 92% of Nexford alumni are currently employed. 95% indicate they are already reaching the objectives they set when enrolling, before many traditional programs would even award a degree. Additionally, one in three alumni have experienced a 50% or greater rise in earnings since completing their studies—a figure Nexford says no competitor has published with comparable openness.
The Data
– 92% of alumni are employed.
– 95% say they are already hitting the goals they enrolled for.
– 97% express overall satisfaction with their studies.
– 82% have received a promotion or taken on greater responsibilities since enrolling.
– 64% now hold a manager-level position or above.
– 1 in 3 alumni recorded a 50%+ salary increase after graduating.
– 75% report that Nexford prepared them “extremely” or “very well” for their career.
– 92% report growth in leadership and management, 92% in critical thinking and problem solving, and 90% in communication and workplace culture.
In other words, receiving a promotion at Nexford is not unusual—it is the typical outcome.
Why It Matters Now
The report arrives under the theme “The Year of the AI Translator,” a term Nexford created to describe a role companies are hiring for but have yet to name: the individual who can seamlessly navigate between AI capabilities and business strategy. Nexford has built a direct, organized pathway to that role via its B.S. in AI for Business, MS in AI and Technology Management, and AI specializations within its MBA and BBA programs. This report offers the first concrete evidence that alumni across the entire institution—not just those in its newest AI programs—are already working at that intersection.
“A degree is an investment, and like any investment, it should deliver a positive return,” said Fadl Al Tarzi, Founder and CEO of Nexford University. “AI is accelerating how quickly the skills employers value are changing, which makes the return on education increasingly dependent on how relevant that education remains. For the fifth year in a row, our outcomes show that it is possible to combine career relevance with affordability and accessibility, and deliver an education that translates into meaningful economic progress for learners.”
“These outcomes demonstrate what becomes possible when higher education is designed around where learners are going, rather than simply what they need to complete,” said Dr. Ann Larson, Chief Academic Officer at Nexford University. “Our alumni are not waiting years for the value of their education to show up, they are applying what they learn to solve real business challenges, take on greater responsibility, and advance their careers now. The rise of the AI Translator reflects this shift: organizations need professionals who can connect emerging AI capabilities to sound business judgment, leadership, and execution. That is exactly the kind of career-ready, AI-integrated learning Nexford is built to deliver.”
About the Report
The findings come from the 2025 to 2026 Nexford Alumni Outcomes Survey. Percentages reflect the responses of alumni who took part in the survey and, where applicable, answered the relevant question. They should not be interpreted as representing all Nexford University alumni.
