Smart View

The HD camera display integrates seamlessly into the handlebar, delivering a live feed of rearward traffic while riding. This lets cyclists keep track of what’s happening behind them without needing to turn their head.

Smart Lights

One of the most striking design features of the new Volkswagen eBike is a continuous LED light strip integrated into the frame’s top tube.
This light strip draws inspiration from Volkswagen’s signature lighting design. At the same time, it functions as a highly visible daytime running light, making the bicycle far more noticeable from multiple angles even in daylight.*

Smart Helmet

The helmet syncs with the e-bike via Bluetooth, features highly visible LED lighting, and coordinates with the Smart Lights. This makes braking and turning signals visible from behind through the helmet as well.
But the Smart Helmet offers more than extra illumination: a built-in acceleration sensor detects potential crashes and automatically alerts loved ones via text message in an emergency.
Smart Glasses
The Volkswagen-licensed Smart Glasses elevate the connected safety ecosystem to another level.
Paired with Smart View, these glasses deliver key riding information without causing unnecessary distraction. Riders can keep their eyes on the road while simultaneously accessing relevant data.
Much like a modern head-up display (HUD) in a vehicle, navigation cues, blind-spot warnings, and intelligent ride information appear within the natural field of view. Toggling the head-up display on or off requires nothing more than a deliberate upward-right eye movement.
Behind the Smart Glasses are the same engineers who previously developed head-up displays for fighter jet pilots. These systems project vital telemetry directly into the visual field when every millisecond counts.
