Drawing on FAD data as of May 1, 2026, the document records over 440,000 active Citizens Broadband Radio Service Devices (CBSDs) and more than 1.3 million active spectrum grants. The analysis also enumerates 157 unique FCC-certified CBRS equipment models that are currently in active service, and investigates adoption trends across LTE, 5G NR, and proprietary wireless technologies.
Coverage within the report includes statistics on CBSD deployment categories, indoor versus outdoor installations, PAL and GAA spectrum usage, granted bandwidth, grant allocation characteristics, antenna heights, and nationwide deployment heatmaps broken down by state and county.
