For federal agencies wrestling with legacy security operations and mounting automation demands, a new procurement pathway just opened up. Phoenix Data Security Inc., operating as Phoenix Cyber, has secured a spot on NASA’s Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) VI Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC), a vehicle that lets government buyers tap into pre-vetted IT and cybersecurity vendors without running separate, time-consuming procurement processes.
The company’s award falls under Category C: IT Mission-Based Services, which stands as the largest small-business set-aside category within the program. Through this contract, Phoenix Cyber can now deliver an array of technology offerings to federal clients—spanning cybersecurity, software engineering, data analytics, IT consulting, network operations, and engineering support.
SEWP VI operates as a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract, giving federal agencies access to information technology, communications, audiovisual solutions, and related services. The contract carries an individual awardee ceiling of $20 billion and stretches across a 10-year ordering window, running from Nov. 1, 2026, through Oct. 31, 2036.

“Our federal team brings decades of experience in cybersecurity, data protection, application modernization, and automation across government agencies,” said Brian Kafenbaum, Founder and Managing Partner of Phoenix Cyber. “SEWP VI gives agencies a faster way to bring that experience to their SOC modernization and security automation priorities, so they can reduce risk and put more of their teams’ time back into the mission.”
Phoenix Cyber’s government credentials run deeper than this latest win. For over 15 years, the firm has supplied cybersecurity engineering, automation, data protection, and operational sustainment services to U.S. government customers. SEWP VI now joins the company’s roster of existing contract vehicles—GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS), DLA JETS 2.0, GSA OASIS+, and SeaPort NxG—giving defense and civilian agencies multiple avenues to engage its services.
Agencies can place orders through SEWP VI under contract number 80TECH26D0258. Additional details are available at https://phoenixcyber.com/government-contractor/nasa-sewp-vi-contract/.

Why it matters: This award positions a mid-sized cybersecurity specialist directly in the federal procurement mainstream, giving agencies a streamlined route to SOC modernization and security automation expertise. With a $20 billion ceiling and a decade-long ordering period, SEWP VI could become a primary channel for agencies looking to close security gaps without bureaucratic delays.
