CardGrade has surpassed 10,000 members and 39,674 finished AI card analyses, while introducing enhanced condition capture and collection workflow features.
Collectors need better information before preparing a submission. We want AI pre-screening to be more informative while keeping estimates distinct from official professional grades.”— Jamie Budesky, founder of CardGrade.io
The AI-assisted trading card pre-screening platform CardGrade.io is broadening its collector workflow by incorporating Intelligence Grade analysis, Forensic Capture, collection management tools, and a complimentary centering calculator.
According to CardGrade’s internal dashboard, as of August 16, 2026, the platform had over 10,000 members and 39,674 card analyses completed. That same day, the dashboard logged 1,020 analyses and 269 new signups.
Intelligence Grade enables collectors to examine a single full-card photo across 47 inspection points and a 16-zone condition map. The resulting report offers estimates aligned with PSA, BGS, and CGC reference standards, while clearly stating that the output is an AI pre-screen and not an official grade from any professional grading company.
For more detailed scrutiny, Forensic Capture introduces eight macro close-ups—one for each corner on both the front and back of a card. These extra images aim to deliver clearer evidence of whitening, edge wear, and corner condition for collectors and high-volume users.
CardGrade is additionally developing an integrated collection workflow that assists users in identifying cards, organizing their collections, and determining which cards might warrant closer inspection before submission to a professional grader. This workflow is intended to consolidate identification, collection organization, pre-screening, and subsequent grading decisions into a single platform.
Collectors can also access CardGrade’s free card centering tool without needing an account. The tool calculates front and back border ratios and compares them against published reference standards. It serves as a screening aid, not a replacement for professional evaluation.
“Collectors want better information before they spend time and money preparing a submission,” said Jamie Budesky, founder of CardGrade.io. “Our focus is to make the pre-screening process more informative while keeping the distinction between an AI estimate and an official professional grade clear.”
CardGrade.io can be accessed via the web and its mobile workflow. Additional details are available at CardGrade.io, covering the Forensic Capture feature and the free card centering tool.
