Among the earliest major tenants to occupy space in CEC’s premier building, the company is collaborating with the zone to renovate its offices while planning for sustained growth
GEORGE TOWN, KY, CAYMAN ISLANDS, August 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Eightpoint Technologies Ltd. SEZC today renewed its enduring dedication to the Cayman Islands, announcing a current initiative in partnership with Cayman Enterprise City (CEC) to upgrade its workspace at Signal House.
Eightpoint Technologies has been a part of Cayman Enterprise City since 2018 and counted among the initial major firms to establish an office at Signal House, CEC’s 40,000-square-foot flagship structure that debuted in 2024 as the primary center for the zone’s network of more than 450 enterprises. The ongoing effort will enhance and reorganize the company’s area within the building and is carried out with Eightpoint Technologies’ intention to stay for an extended period.
The business runs its commercial operations from George Town, with its leadership residing on the island. Thomas Redford, a UK citizen who holds the position of President, leads Eightpoint Technologies. The company is governed by a board comprising mostly citizens of the United Kingdom and the United States.
“We entered the zone in 2018 and relocated to Signal House as soon as it opened, so this represents our second time constructing space here,” stated Thomas Redford, President of Eightpoint Technologies Ltd. SEZC. “We are putting money into these offices because Grand Cayman is where our employees and leadership are situated, and we are dedicated to staying for the long haul. CEC has been a true partner in backing that dedication, and the presence we have created here demonstrates it — Grand Cayman is where our business is managed and where our team is working toward the future.”
Grand Cayman supplies the company with a stable jurisdiction under English common law, a mature professional services industry, robust international links, and a workforce sourced globally. Eightpoint Technologies works closely with its affiliated firm, Eightpoint Interactive, Inc., which runs from Fort Myers, Florida. With a varied team located across the United States, Eightpoint Interactive’s management group, based in Fort Myers, Florida, is wholly made up of U.S. citizens, and a majority of its board members are also U.S. citizens.
"Eight years at Cayman Enterprise City is a significant achievement," said Deniz Gezgin, Chief Executive Officer of Eightpoint Interactive, Inc. "Grand Cayman has evolved into a true technology center, and it is wonderful to observe Eightpoint Technologies continuing to invest there. Congratulations to Thomas Redford and the whole team."
“Eightpoint’s ongoing investment in Cayman exemplifies the sort of long-term dedication that the CEC special economic zone was designed to foster. Across the past eight years, Eightpoint has established a meaningful operational footprint and expanded alongside our dynamic and expanding innovation ecosystem. Its additional investment at Signal House serves as a powerful validation of the CEC model and of Cayman as a location where global technology firms can function with assurance, invest with certainty, and construct for the future," said Charlie Kirkconnell, Chief Executive Officer of Cayman Enterprise City.
