RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA, September 13, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Money20/20 Middle East is set to bring together the worldwide financial ecosystem in Riyadh from 14–16 September 2026 at the Riyadh Exhibition & Convention Centre in Malham, gathering fintech executives, investors, regulators, and innovators for three days of sessions, networking, and deal-making.

Organised by the Financial Sector Development Program (FSDP), Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), Capital Market Authority (CMA) and Insurance Authority (IA), and co-organised by Fintech Saudi and Tahaluf, Money20/20 Middle East will link global financial leaders with the firms, institutions, and regulators shaping the next era of financial services in Saudi Arabia and the broader region.

The 2026 edition is anticipated to attract over 38,000 participants, along with 350 exhibiting brands, more than 350 speakers, over 600 investors, and 150 startups, underscoring Riyadh’s expanding position as a hub for the global and regional financial community.

Steve Durning, Assistant Vice President at Tahaluf, stated: “The speed of change across financial services is remarkable, and Money20/20 Middle East provides a space where those driving that transformation can connect. Riyadh will bring together global and regional leaders beyond mere discussion to concentrate on forging partnerships and stimulating investment that will define fintech’s next stage. We are excited to welcome the global money ecosystem to the Kingdom for three days of valuable connections, conversations, and opportunities.”

This year’s agenda will highlight several of the most impactful developments reshaping financial services, such as artificial intelligence, autonomous finance, open banking, embedded finance, payments, regulation, access to capital, and cross-border financial infrastructure.

These discussions will occur across the Executive Summit, NextGen Money, The Bridge, The Capital Stage, The Boardroom, Off The Record, providing industry leaders with opportunities to share insights, build relationships, and explore new cooperation areas.

The Next-Gen Money program will also include Godfrey Sullivan, Senior Vice President, Head of Products & Solutions, CEMEA at Visa, in the live demo session “Trust in the Age of Agentic Commerce.” That session will examine how AI agents can execute transactions on behalf of customers, covering merchant selection, payments, authorisation, as well as issues around refunds, disputes, and liability.

Godfrey Sullivan commented: “Agentic commerce is opening a fresh chapter in how people discover, choose, and pay. As AI becomes more deeply integrated into everyday shopping, the industry has a vital role in ensuring these experiences are secure, trusted, and seamless. Money20/20 Middle East is an excellent platform to discuss with the payments ecosystem what is required to move agentic commerce from innovation to real-world adoption.”

Joy Adams, Chief Operating Officer, Digital Assets Transformation, Corporate Bank at Deutsche Bank, will participate in a session focused on building intelligent financial institutions, while Tony Ashraf, Managing Director at BlackRock, will join a panel exploring what comes after payments as instant payment networks and programmable financial infrastructure increasingly merge.

The agenda will also address governance of agentic AI, the future of cross-border payment corridors, the role of regulation in fostering innovation, and the conditions needed to attract long-term global capital.
Saudi Arabia’s fintech transformation will be a prominent theme throughout the program. Nora M. Albakr, Deputy Governor for Financial Innovation at the Saudi Central Bank, will deliver an opening keynote, alongside sessions on how companies built in the Kingdom can scale internationally, why global investors are increasing their focus on Saudi Arabia, and how regulation, capital, and infrastructure can support the sector’s next growth phase.
Other confirmed speakers include Mostapha Tahiri, Chief Operating Officer at State Street; Hani Kablawi, Executive Vice Chair and Head of Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific at BNY; Ali Bailoun, Senior Vice President and Group Country Manager for Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Oman at Visa; and Hisham Al-Falih, Co-Founder and CEO of Lean Technologies.
By connecting Saudi founders, financial institutions, and regulators with global investors and technology leaders, Money20/20 Middle East will create avenues for international collaboration, market access, and long-term partnerships, supporting the Kingdom’s ambitions under Saudi Vision 2030 and the Financial Sector Development Program.
