Panoramix™ Expands Trading & Rebalancing Capabilities with One-Sided Trading and Household Rebalancing

New Panoramix Pro upgrades deliver increased adaptability and insight for advisors overseeing portfolio allocations

These upgrades provide advisors with greater adaptability in handling allocations across accounts and households while delivering enhanced transparency during the rebalancing workflow.”— Chris Hastings, Panoramix CEO

Panoramix™, a portfolio management and reporting solution designed for independent registered investment advisors (RIAs) and independent financial advisors, has announced the expansion of its Trading & Rebalancing tools within Panoramix Pro, introducing One-Sided Trading and Household Rebalancing.

These newly added features offer advisors greater adaptability in guiding client portfolios back to their target allocations while maintaining the advisor's authority to evaluate and direct trading choices. They represent the initial stage of a strategic investment in Panoramix Pro, which merges every feature of a standard Panoramix license with built-in Trading & Rebalancing functionality.

Through One-Sided Trading, advisors utilizing group-based models can adjust higher-level allocation groups without having to rebalance each individual holding within those groups. Panoramix is able to maintain trades in a single direction within an Asset Class, Security Type, or Asset Type group, making purchases for groups that require expansion and executing sales for groups that need reduction. This method aids advisors in moving the portfolio's overall allocation toward its target while preventing trades that are initiated solely to restore each underlying position to its own specific target.

Panoramix Pro has also introduced Household Rebalancing, which enables an advisor to work toward a target allocation across a household while preserving adaptability at the individual account and position level. Advisors have the option to designate an allocation within a particular account or exclude an account or position from the rebalancing process, ensuring those account-level needs are handled before the remaining household assets are aligned with the household's target allocation.

A newly added Show My Work screen offers enhanced visibility into the Trading & Rebalancing process. When rebalancing at the account or household level, with or without the One-Sided Trading option activated, advisors can examine the reasoning behind the outcome while keeping authority over trading decisions.

"Trading and rebalancing goes beyond just reaching a final outcome. Advisors require adaptability in executing their investment strategy, along with the capacity to comprehend the process and maintain authority over their choices," stated Chris Hastings, CEO of Panoramix. "These upgrades provide advisors with greater adaptability in handling allocations across accounts and households while delivering enhanced transparency throughout the rebalancing workflow."

These features were incorporated into Panoramix version 3.0.70, launched on August 6, 2026, as Panoramix continues its focused efforts on advancing the Trading & Rebalancing tools and capabilities within Panoramix Pro.

As part of this broader emphasis on Trading & Rebalancing, Panoramix Pro additionally supports fractional-share trading for advisors who hold custody with Schwab Advisor Services™. Following the introduction of fractional-share trading at Schwab Advisor Services, Panoramix was promptly able to accommodate fractional shares within its current Trading & Rebalancing workflows, eliminating the need for advisors to rely on separate tools or manual processes.

Panoramix Pro adds integrated Trading & Rebalancing to every feature included in a standard Panoramix license. The Trading & Rebalancing tools encompass generating and submitting trades, bulk and individual account trading, trading rules, rebalancing, cash allocation, and additional trading workflows. Panoramix Pro is capable of submitting trading files to most custodians, directly transmitting via APIs to several custodians, and using a FIX connection for most custodians.
