Sydney Tech Expo launches with ambition to become Australia’s largest tech trade show

A fresh large-format B2B technology expo is set to debut in Sydney, uniting enterprise tech, artificial intelligence, cloud services, data centers, and digital infrastructure under one roof at ICC Sydney.

Sydney Tech Expo sets its sights on becoming Australia’s biggest tech trade fair

A significant new technology trade fair, Sydney Tech Expo, is scheduled for November 9th & 10th, 2027, at ICC Sydney.

The goal of Sydney Tech Expo is to establish itself as the nation’s premier tech exhibition, uniting Australia’s technology sector for a major two-day gathering.

Its first edition will draw over 10,000 attendees, more than 200 exhibitors, and upwards of 500 speakers across 14 distinct summits. The event will also include Meet the Buyer sessions, networking opportunities, and entertainment. Attendance is free of charge.

The launch of Sydney Tech Expo fills a notable void in Australia’s B2B technology event landscape.

Large-scale technology expos are a staple in tech markets worldwide, gathering the industry together in one venue. Sydney Tech Expo was developed with the aspiration of becoming Australia’s largest such event, with ICC Sydney serving as the venue capable of hosting an undertaking of this magnitude.

This two-day gathering will comprise two dedicated shows: the Data Centres & Digital Infrastructure Show and the Enterprise Tech, Cloud & AI Show. Collectively, these shows will delve into key developments shaping the Australian tech sector.

The Data Centres & Digital Infrastructure Show will serve as a premier exhibition for Australia’s rapidly expanding data centre and digital infrastructure industry.

Australia’s data centre sector is projected to draw as much as $135 billion in investment over the next ten years, with roughly 90 data centre initiatives currently in the national development pipeline.

This show will connect thousands of professionals, including data centre operators, hyperscalers, investors, developers, and technology vendors.

Topics on the agenda include data centre development and investment, power supply, AI infrastructure, cloud growth, cooling technology, community engagement, sustainability, and responsible data centre expansion.

The conference will also confront some of the sector’s toughest challenges, such as planning hurdles, power limitations, community acceptance, and how Australia can responsibly scale up its data centre capacity.

The Enterprise Tech, Cloud & AI Show will be a major exhibition focused on enterprise technology, cloud computing, AI, and digital transformation in Australia.

This show will gather thousands of enterprise technology leaders and buyers from both Australia and across the globe.

Enterprise technology firms will have the chance to update their systems, adopt AI, bolster cybersecurity, improve data usage, and accelerate digital transformation throughout their operations.

Sydney Tech Expo will put a strong focus on linking exhibitors with technology purchasers.

In addition to direct meetings on the exhibition floor, exhibitors can take part in Meet the Buyer sessions, which offer structured, facilitated discussions with buyers.

The two-day event will pair a large-scale exhibition with high-level conference programming, Meet the Buyer sessions, networking, and entertainment, creating a fresh hub for Australia’s technology community.

Sydney Tech Expo will be held at ICC Sydney on November 9th & 10th, 2027, and is free to attend.
