Cybersecurity software continues to draw serious buyer interest, and the latest proof point comes from a completed cross-border deal that pairs a niche email encryption platform with a strategic acquirer. The transaction underscores how recurring-revenue security products remain a priority for investors and corporate buyers alike.
Transworld M&A Advisors announced the successful sale of SaaS company led by Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) practice leader Tyler Le.
Demand from acquirers and investors for SaaS businesses remains strong, and our job is to understand both the technology and how to position it for the right buyer.”— Tyler LeLOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, October 30, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The sale, which closed in Los Angeles, involved Identillect Technologies, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Secure Blockchain Development Corp. and the developer of the Delivery Trust® email encryption and secure communication platform. The buyer is Caryco Tech, Inc., and Transworld M&A Advisors acted as the exclusive M&A advisor on the deal.
This acquisition reflects a broader pattern: established cybersecurity software with predictable, recurring revenue is increasingly viewed as a strategic asset worth acquiring rather than building from scratch.
The transaction was spearheaded by Transworld’s Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) practice, which focuses on sell-side representation for founders and owners of software businesses. That team combines hands-on operating knowledge of software with full-cycle M&A execution — helping founders identify the right acquirer, prepare valuation and go-to-market strategy, and navigate the process through closing.
Robert Chisholm, Chief Financial Officer of Secure Blockchain, credited the advisory team and the buyer for seeing the deal through. “We would like to thank Tyler Le, Managing Director of Transworld, and his team for their hard work and guidance throughout this process, and Joseph Cary, President of Caryco, for his dedication to completing this transaction.”
Le, who led the engagement for Transworld, said the outcome reflects the firm’s core approach. “It was a privilege to represent Identillect through this milestone sale,” he said. “Demand from acquirers and investors for SaaS businesses remains strong, and our job is to understand both the technology and how to position it for the right buyer. Bringing this transaction to a successful close for all parties is exactly the outcome our practice is built to deliver.”
Le’s background spans both software operations and M&A, giving him a dual lens that proved useful in positioning this cybersecurity SaaS company for a strategic buyer and securing the right valuation.

Why it matters: This deal signals that specialized cybersecurity tools — even those with a narrow niche like email encryption — can attract serious strategic buyers when positioned properly. For founders of smaller security software firms, it also highlights the value of an advisory team that understands both the technology and the M&A landscape.
