STM Canna's RocketBox 3.0 handles both homogenized infused and standard flower on a commercial scale, achieving a daily output of up to 20,000 pre-rolls.

The latest RocketBox iteration is engineered for high-volume homogenized infused flower, arriving as infused products now account for 47% of U.S. pre-roll revenue.

Infused pre-rolls have emerged as a critical segment within the U.S. cannabis market, yet scaling production brings difficulties that older pre-roll filling systems were never intended to address.
STM Canna is tackling that production challenge by introducing the RocketBox 3.0, a next-generation commercial pre-roll filling machine and the most adaptable RocketBox the company has ever offered.
The RocketBox 3.0 was created to deliver the extra power and process control required for heavier, stickier, and denser homogenized infused material while still offering the versatility to run standard flower on the same unit. It also provides producers with multiple tray options and greater freedom in how the machine is integrated into an existing production environment.
This release comes as infused products continue to capture a growing share of the pre-roll market. Based on Headset data cited by Custom Cones USA, infused pre-rolls generated roughly 47% of U.S. pre-roll category revenue, nearing half of total category sales.
“Infused pre-rolls have become a major part of the category, but producers aren't all making the same products or running the same production setup,” said Jason Dueweke, CEO of STM Canna. “We designed the RocketBox 3.0 to give producers more flexibility in how they run their pre-roll operation, from the material they're filling to the tray configuration and how the machine fits into the rest of their production line.”
Built for Homogenized Infused Material
The RocketBox 3.0 expands on STM Canna's RocketBox platform by offering increased power and finer control over the filling process.
At its core is Particle Lock Technology, which uses a controlled swirling vortex to settle material into place layer by layer instead of tamping it. Adjustable speed settings and the top tray allow operators to fine-tune density and fill volume for material that is heavier, stickier, or denser than standard ground flower.
The machine is built to produce up to 20,000 pre-rolls per day, depending on product characteristics, pre-roll size, tray configuration, operator workflow, and other production variables.
This same system can run both homogenized infused and standard flower, enabling producers to manufacture multiple pre-roll product types without needing separate filling equipment.
Multiple Tray Configurations for Different Production Workflows
A key upgrade with the RocketBox 3.0 is the ability to configure the machine around varying production needs.
Operators can use a single 453-joint tray for high-volume filling or run two 72-joint trays simultaneously.
The dual 72-joint configuration also allows producers to integrate the RocketBox 3.0 into STM Canna's One-Tray Workflow, where compatible trays move between production stages and equipment without requiring manual transfer of pre-rolls between machines.
This gives producers the ability to select a tray configuration based on their preferred production line workflow rather than being limited to a single setup.
Part of STM Canna's One-Tray Workflow
For producers building a larger automated production line, the RocketBox 3.0 can be incorporated into STM Canna's modular One-Tray Workflow.
Using compatible trays, pre-rolls can move from filling into STM equipment such as the LaunchPad Scale for weighing and the Atomic Closer automated Dutch Crown machine for closing.
This modular approach allows producers to build filling, weighing, and closing automation around their specific production requirements instead of committing to a single, significantly more expensive all-in-one system.
It also enables individual pieces of equipment to be added or upgraded as production needs change.
Flexible Air Supply Options
The RocketBox 3.0 includes an onboard air system, which allows it to operate without relying on a facility's existing compressed-air infrastructure.
For commercial facilities that already have an in-house air compressor, the machine also offers the option to connect directly to the facility's compressed-air supply instead of using the onboard system.
This choice gives producers added flexibility when integrating the RocketBox 3.0 into an existing production facility and allows the machine to be configured around the infrastructure already in place.
